Port Dickson town is so small that even a child will not get lost if they wander around. The main street consist of only a single road combining the whole town. It is also a one way street so you can expect some busy traffic during holiday seasons and public holidays, but it will never be anywhere as bad as the jams in the city.
A new street just adjacent to the bus terminal, called Center Point jouses the supermarkets and fast food restaurants. This is the buziest part of Port Dickson as it is close to the main town and because of the various shopping centers there.
The old bus terminal has been sitting there for as long as I can remember and nothing much has changed except for some major repairs and paintwork. Along the Old Street where the Police Headquarters are situated are the same row of shops that has been there ever since I was a school boy.
The Port Dickson wet market is at the end of this old street and there is where the whole of Port Dickson towm’s residents gets their daily fresh vegetables and meat.
Though the town itself has not seen much major changes except for some extentions where the sea right beside the town has been reclaimed, the reclaimed land has been left idle for quite some time. Things or hopwever a little bit different if you travel out of Port Dickson. Townships has sprunged up and many new housing estates can be seen in the outskirts surroounding Port Dickson Town.
