For those hunting for a hotel rooms or any other places to stay over in Port Dickson during the festive season, and you are only doing it now, I am afraid you will be disappointed. According to reliable sources, all hotels, resorts, condos in Port Dickson have been fully booked for Christmas and the New Year.
In fact, traffic leading to the beach hotels are already staring to build up as I am writing this and today is only Wednesday. By tomorrow, expect some serious traffic jams, especially along the Coast Road where most of the major Hotels in Port Dickson are located.
The situation is made worse with the fact that Christmas and the New Year falls on a Friday and Saturday being a day off for major corporations will make the weekend a perfect for a good holiday by the beaches of Port Dickson.
In times like these, all restaurants, big and small or even roadside stalls will be packed with hungry holiday seekers. So if you plan to drive down to PD for a one day trip, I would suggest you turn your trip into a picnic by bringing your own food.

The condition of beaches staring from the 3rd. mile onwards have seen vast improvements. Reclamations of the beaches have been done and public toilets and baths have been made available in may places.
